| A statue of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous character, Sherlock Holmes has been a fixture at Picardy Place, Edinburgh for nineteen years. Unfortunately he has to move to make way for the tram lines, and has been shipped off to storage for a while, until his new home can be made ready. A Time Capsule was located under the statue and one of the three individuals who know what the contents of the time capsule is was on hand to take it away for safe keeping meantime. Apologies to the hotel whose chair I used as an impromptu stepladder....and thanks to all those who put up with me pretending to be the press...! |
